I’m Elizabeth
Hi, I’m Elizabeth Wellington, and I’m passionate about making a difference. As the President and CEO of Wellie Business Consulting LLC, I’ve dedicated my career to helping businesses and individuals achieve their full potential. With a strong foundation in public administration, human resources, and community advocacy, I’ve spent over a decade working to empower minority communities and build bridges where they’re needed most.
THE OFFERS
My journey began with a deep commitment to justice and human rights,
which led me to my role as the Pre-Trial Program Coordinator for the Nassau County Commission on Human Rights. In this role, I’ve had the privilege of advocating for the underrepresented, ensuring that everyone has a voice and the opportunity to thrive. This passion for advocacy has also driven my work as the Vice President of Wellie The Transporter LLC, a family-owned trucking business that’s been serving the Northeast since 2010.
Education has always been at the heart of my mission. I hold Master’s degrees in Public Administration, Human Resources, and Management & Operations, along with a Bachelor’s and Associate degree in Criminal Justice. My certifications in Lean Six Sigma and Community Leadership, coupled with my experience in both the public and private sectors, equip me to tackle a wide range of challenges—from transportation logistics to corporate finance and community engagement.
I’m also deeply involved in my community
serving on various boards and committees that focus on economic empowerment, diversity, and education. From my work with the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce to my role as the 1st Vice President of the Nassau Community College Alumni Association, I’m committed to making a lasting impact.
Throughout my career, I’ve been honored to receive numerous awards and recognitions, including the Women Center for Professional Development honor and being named one of the Top 50 Influential Women in Business. But for me, the greatest reward is seeing the positive change that can happen when we work together.
I believe in the power of collaboration and the importance of giving back. Whether through consulting, advocacy, or community work, my goal is always the same: to uplift others and create opportunities for success. I’m excited to continue this journey, and I look forward to helping you achieve your goals.
